Data Strategy Lead - Erlanger, KY
This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:
The Data Strategy Lead identifies opportunities for process optimization and improvement within the business to capture and support analytics product value realization and within the data analytics function, implementing best practices and driving innovation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. We look for our Data Strategy Leads to be strong individual contributors within our large team and facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments and stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.

Job Description & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Data Strategy Lead who will lead multiple initiatives delivering a variety of solutions for a diverse set of internal customers. The Data Strategy Lead should have a strong understanding of all data & analytics capabilities and services. Additional responsibilities of this role include the following:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Co-lead the development of business value cases to support the prioritization of analytics efforts in collaboration with both internal department leaders and external GT and business leaders across the organization
  • Co-lead the value realization tracking of analytics products 6 months/1 year post implementation to evaluate and measure progress toward value capture
  • Determine business process and/or decision making process changes that need to be implemented to support the achievement of value goals upon analytics product release
  • Gain commitment and alignment from business leaders on process changes needed
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and strategy of the analytics demand pipeline
  • Communicate effectively with business and IT colleagues and leaders
  • Provide fit-gap recommendations to teams when evaluating data & analytics operations
  • Deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and in a way that accomplishes project goals
  • Work on simultaneous projects without sacrificing delivery
  • Provide status updates for stakeholder reporting
  • Identify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within differing situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily work
  • Prepare and present ideas & recommendations to colleagues and management
  • Maintain team playbooks and Ways of Working
  • Design solutions and provide recommendations to improve our current work environment and make analytics more significant for every employee at ADM 
  • Mentor Data Strategy Analysts

Education Qualification & Skill Requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Programming, Business Analytics, Mathematical or related field
  • 5+ years of business/technology work experience
  • Understands and can navigate complex business requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to turn problems into opportunities, develop ideas into solutions and utilize analytical, evaluative, or constructive thinking in daily work  
  • Motivated professional who demonstrates initiative and leadership 
  • Solution-focused, problem-solver who works both independently with little direction and can also partner well with teams 
  • Maintain calm in a fast-paced, changing environment, and with all levels of the organization and cope with constantly evolving information 
  • Ability to evaluate and manage priorities while adapting to individual and team assignments as adjustments are needed 
  • Maintains a positive work environment through collaboration & conflict resolution 
  • Knowledge of how current trends and process solutions can address identified business needs and capabilities
  • Ability to share ideas effectively using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
  • Able to critically think and be solution-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work easily with client personnel
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Great organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Possesses a professional demeanor
