Responsibilities

As Atlassian’s Head of Products for AI-Driven Developer Experiences, you will help define and lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our portfolio AI experiences, tailored to developers and the teams they work within. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and user-centered design to deliver innovative products that simplify and enhance the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and design, to drive product excellence and market adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Atlassian’s AI solutions for developers and the underlying technologies necessary to get there.

    • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure product innovation and relevance.

  2. Team Leadership:

    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team. Initially this will be done as a Senior IC but assuming direct management over time.

    • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages experimentation and learning.

  3. Product Development:

    • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to develop scalable AI solutions that solve developer pain points.

    • Prioritize and define product requirements based on customer insights, market analysis, and business goals.

  4. Customer Focus:

    • Engage directly with customers and the developer community at large to understand their challenges.

    • Deliver delightful, market-leading user experiences that meet and exceed developer expectations.

  5. Metrics and Outcomes:

    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and adoption.

    • Use data-driven insights to iterate and refine products continuously.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $255,200 - $340,200

Zone B: $229,600 - $306,200

Zone C: $211,800 - $282,400

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
