Commercial Insight Analyst - Go.Compare

What you'll be doing…

Go.Compare was acquired by Future in 2021 and is now a leading brand within the Savings (insurance & personal finance) division. Go.Compare is one of the UK’s original comparison websites and best loved brands. We enable consumers to compare the costs and features of a wide variety of insurance policies, financial products and energy tariffs; ultimately helping people find the best deal.

As a Commercial Insight Analyst, you will join Go.Compare’s Data Service team focusing on utilising available data to drive improvements to partner performance. In this newly created role, you will have the freedom to explore commercial opportunities with new and existing partners and work on key projects using large data sets to help key achieve strategic initiatives.

This is a dynamic role which will work closely with strategic decision makers and will involve: providing insight to senior internal stakeholders, helping partners solve commercial data problems, identifying market trends, spotting new commercial data opportunities and helping to shape our partner data strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, understand and report on key emerging trends in the rapidly evolving insurance market.
• Analyse data to identify opportunities for growth and work with the Data Service team to provide actionable insights.
• Provide analytical support and insight to inform business decisions and strategy including responsibility for ensuring robustness of output.
• Support existing partners - ensure partners are engaging with our services, getting value, and evaluate usage including possible improvements.
• Support on pitching to new and existing partners.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

Key

• Stakeholder management
• An eye for detail and cross-referencing
• Ability to translate technical findings into an accessible format
• Experience in analysing large datasets and providing actionable written insights

Desirable

• Experience with SQL to question and analyse data
• PowerBI experience
• Commercial acumen including negotiations and sales
• Experience/understanding of the insurance industry and/or wider financial services sector
