We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who will work closely with our Cloud, Sales, Professional Services, Technical Support Engineer, and Solutions Engineering teams. This role involves developing, enhancing, and deploying Large Language Models (LLM) cognitive reasoning engines to increase the speed and accuracy of proactive and preventative support. Using Python and associated libraries, you will predict customer sentiment, urgency, escalations, and identify topics embedded in customer interactions. Additionally, you will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support machine learning workflows that can be consumed in real time.
NetApp has thousands of support incidents open on any given day. Every incident contains many interactions that occur globally, 24/7/365. As a Full Stack Engineer at NetApp, you will develop, enhance, and deploy machine learning models to improve support processes. You will create and model customer sentiment, urgency, predict escalations, and identify topics embedded in customer interactions using Python. Additionally, you will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support machine learning workflows. Your role will involve working with Dash/Flask web frameworks to build and maintain web applications, managing and optimizing MYSQL databases, and implementing Celery/Redis distributed work queues for data ingestion and notifications. Furthermore, you will utilize OpenAI prompt engineering to enhance AI-driven solutions.
Job Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Python.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles such as version control, code review, and testing.
- Experience with Dash/Flask web frameworks.
- Proficiency with MYSQL databases.
- Experience with Celery/Redis distributed work queues.
- Familiarity with OpenAI prompt engineering.
Experience
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, and typically requires no previous professional experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Python programming languages.
- Practical experience with Object Oriented programming practices
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.
- Well-grounded in the basic concepts of computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practices
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 78,795 - 117,260 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
