Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compensation Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for participating in the development, implementation, and management of our company-wide compensation programs. You will work closely with all members of the People Team to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, principled, equitable, and support employee retention and motivation.


What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain compensation structures, policies, and programs
  • Conduct regular market research and participate in salary surveys to ensure we maintain our competitive pay practices
  • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to People Team leaders
  • Develop and manage annual salary review processes and bonus programs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with Recruiting and People Business Partners to address compensation-related issues and inquiries
  • Create and maintain compensation metrics and reports for executive leadership
  • Assist in the development of job descriptions and participate in job evaluations
  • Support merger and acquisition activities by analyzing compensation packages and recommending integration strategies
  • Develop and deliver training on compensation programs to managers and employees

What You Need:

  • Prior experience in a senior IC or leadership role within the field of Compensation and in a technology or tech-industry adjacent start-up, where you built and managed compensation programs in a high growth, international company.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
  • Fluency with Radford's Global Compensation Database, reporting requirements, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation best practices, trends, and relevant laws/regulations
  • Experience with job evaluation methodologies and salary structure design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong operational mindset with a track record of developing and refining processes at scale
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and comfortable making recommendations to executive leaders
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Knowledge of equity compensation and stock option plans
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Rippling)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

The US base salary range for this role is $163,000 ~ $220,600 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.


Within the range, individual compensation is determined by various factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide more specific details on the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
