BI Developer

Fujitsu is looking for an Intermediate Business Intelligence Developer to join a project to implement SSIS within a current BI system. This is a ‘like for like’ replacement of a current data transformation tool. The individual must have experience with SSIS and SQL. 

You will be entrusted with the following: 

• Working with senior developer(s) to implement SQL statements into SSIS.
• Completing and contributing to system documentation as requested.
• Ensuring changes are checked in and current within the code repository.
• Testing any changes to ensure they are implemented correctly.

Mandatory Skills:

• Working with Microsoft SSIS – Min 3 Years
• Working with and understanding complex SQL Statements – Min 3 Years
• Working with a SQL based DBMS – Min 3 Years
• Experience managing SQL code within TFS – Min 1 Year
• Must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision after training.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a remote team.
• Must have a quality-oriented mindset and approach
• Must have worked in a team environment and must work well in a team environment (excellent interpersonal skills)
• Must be able to identify issues and risks, as well as quality and scope deviation

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with the public sector.
• SQLServer DBMS experience.

Other Requirements:

• The resource must be in Canada.
