Position Summary:
The Content Data Model Owner manages the data models for Content Hub 2.0 (CH2.0), Frontify, and SRH, defining tool-related dictionaries with D2D and Content Hub Leads and aligning Brand and Product dictionaries with Master Data. This role enforces data model governance and leverages expertise in taxonomy, DAM tagging, storage principles, campaign development, and packaging to ensure efficient, user-focused systems that support business goals. While the Data Model Owner does not own the ecosystem strategy, they are accountable for developing, maintaining and owning a data model that supports the ecosystem business goals and objectives.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Serves as the primary owner of the CH 2.0, Frontify, and SRH data models, ensuring alignment with established governance frameworks and organizational standards.
  • You will define, implement, and enforce governance practices to maintain consistency and reliability of data across platforms.
  • Active coordination with the D2D team, C2PA (gen-AI) and CH Leads to ensure dictionaries and data models meet current and future business requirements.
  • Maintenance and regularly updates tool-related dictionaries to reflect evolving taxonomies, business needs, and industry best practices.
  • Conduction periodic audits of data models to ensure integrity, usability, and compliance with governance policies, adapting them based on feedback and technological advances.
  • Collaboration with Master Data and cross-functional teams to create metadata structures that enhance the user experience, campaign development, and packaging workflows.
  • You will ensure tagging and storage principles for the DAM system are optimized for scalability and ease of use, improving asset discoverability and utility.
  • Facilitates discussions with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts or inconsistencies in data definitions and structures.
  • Identifies and implements opportunities to enhance data models and related processes based on evolving business requirements and feedback.
  • Monitors industry trends and best practices to ensure tools and processes remain state-of-the-art.

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in master data, metadata, taxonomy, or data governance within DAM or related systems.
  • Proven track record of executing data strategies provided by senior leadership, ensuring compliance with established governance policies.
  • Hands-on experience working with digital content ecosystems, specifically managing and maintaining taxonomies and data models for campaigns or digital workflows.
  • Experience with DAM systems (e.g., Frontify, CH 2.0, or equivalent) and familiarity with tagging, storage principles, and workflows to enhance system usability.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools for data modeling, metadata governance, and campaign management.

 

Nice to have:

  • Advanced degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, or Business Administration with a focus on digital ecosystems.
