The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, compliance, and security across our clients' data management strategies. As a Data Governance Consultant, you will work closely with stakeholders to establish data governance frameworks, policies, and standards that align with industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and guidelines aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data regulations and establish a culture of data stewardship.
• Conduct assessments to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions to enhance data integrity.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on data governance policies and best practices.
• Monitor data governance initiatives and provide reports on progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or data consulting.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Proven experience with data profiling, data quality assessments, and data lineage tracking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in data governance, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP).
• Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with data management best practices, including metadata management, data classification, and data retention policies.
