Senior Data Engineer - EY GDS Spain Hybrid

The Data & Analytics team at FSO works with leading financial and insurance entities both nationally and internationally. We carry out projects in Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics, data strategy, governance, integration, and architecture. We are looking for Data Engineers who want to join our team in EY GDS Spain (Malaga).

Your key responsabilities:

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and certifying data transformation processes, ensuring quality throughout.
• Exploiting information with different types of tools and programming languages.
• Capturing business needs and translating them into an effective and efficient technological solution.

What are we looking for?

• Telecommunications, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar engineering degrees.
• Minimum English level B2.
• Extensive knowledge related to databases and their management (SQL and noSQL).
• Experience with Spark.
• Advanced experience in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, R, SQL, SAS, Scala.
• Desirable knowledge of the ecosystem of market technologies and tools: Big Data, Cloud, MLOps, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, and Data Quality.
• Desirable use of tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Docker.
