POSITION OVERVIEW  

The Senior Analyst is responsible for day-to-day data management operations for assigned clients, managing pacing, making recommendations to internal and external stakeholders and assisting with development and delivery of data products in the Data Management suite.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES  
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of Compas/CMI Empower list match services
  • Monitor/track all incoming data
  • Perform QA checks on all data exchanges to and from CMI
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing data feeds are delivered timely per client specifications
  • Help to develop and maintain training modules & materials necessary to train staff and/or other departments
  • Conduct regular campaign list matching
  • Troubleshoot all system, user and list related issues as they arise
  • Serve as a mentor to new coordinators in departmental processes, procedures and deliverables
  • Issue client invoices as needed
  • Request and upload partner circulation files on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate cross-brand target matching to define overlap and codify it in Empower systems for analysis by planning staff
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality protocols as they relate to data transfers
  • Export target buy lists to meet client requests; capture and invoice all buy file export activity
  • Coordinate and execute on all ad hoc list match requests when needed
  • Assist in the development of new data assets and services that lead to incremental revenue growth on assigned clients
  • Capture data gaps and discover new opportunities relating to our proprietary systems and offerings
  • Maintain and build relationships with key customers and partners
  • Participate in initiatives to monitor, analyze and improve core reporting system performance, accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform UAT on internal databases, in-house applications, and new products and data assets

 SUPERVISION

  • Supervise junior staff and maintain quality control of work produced by junior staff members
  • Work with management to track performance of staff against yearly goals
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience

  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
  • 2-3 years of experience developing reports/dashboards using a BI tool (e.g.; Tableau or Qlik)
  • 4+ years of experience blending data from structured/unstructured data sources
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment
  • 2-4 years of experience working with secondary data for marketing
  • Experience working with or servicing pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies preferred
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • SQL/Python experience a plus
