Data Quality Assurance Engineer

The Role: 

In this role, you will work closely with product managers, project managers, developers and operations to figure out quality control solutions to ensure that new and existing products meet high standards of usability and quality. In this role you will create test plans and cases, automated scripts for front-end and back-end, performance tests and develop expertise in our products by specialized QA solutions and methodologies. 

  

Responsibilities 

• Review requirements to understand testing scope/requirements and provide requirement feedback to product managers. 

• Contribute to creation of test plans and test cases. 

• Design and implement automated tests to validate applications and functionalities automatically. 

• Determines priority for test scenarios and creates efficient execution plans to maximize testing coverage. 

• Analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests and streamline application functions through automated testing processes. 

• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results. 

• Contribute to test reports that summarize testing activity. 

• Identify, document and track bugs. 

• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction. 

• Provide support and communication for reported issues on Live environment. 

• Actively contribute to the product strategy by providing innovative ideas 

• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. 

• Design and perform regression testing suites. 

• Support automation testing. 

  

  

Requirements 

• Bachelor`s degree or above. 

• Automation testing experience > 1 year, testing experience > 2 years. 

• Good sense to understand product from perspective of customer, functional and non-functional, such as usability. 

• Good understanding of software quality and development process. Solid test design skill. Have own opinion to do better quality control by improve existing processes. 

• Good communication and coordination skills. 

• Be familiar with at least one programming language, such as Java, Python. 

• Good English skill, both writing and speaking. 

• Preference given to candidates with experience in the financial industry.
