You’ll be instrumental in scaling our platform, interacting with investors, and serving as our Israel office's de facto General Manager. This is not a corporate, hands-off leadership role. Responsibilities

• Technology Vision & Leadership: Define and execute the technical strategy, leading a team of engineers in full-stack development, AI research, and infrastructure.
• Hands-On Development: Stay involved in key technical decisions and contribute to building our platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and seamless user experience.
• Platform Innovation: Spearheaded the development of AI-powered solutions, driving the integration of cutting-edge technologies to redefine industry standards.
• Site Leadership: Serve as the cultural and operational leader of the Israel office, fostering collaboration, innovation, and alignment with global goals.
• Investor Interaction: Represent the technology vision to investors and stakeholders, bridging technical innovation with business growth.
• Team Building & Mentorship: Inspire and develop a high-performing engineering team, cultivating a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with C-level executives to align technological initiatives with business objectives and market opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Track record of hands-on leadership in building and scaling AI-driven platforms.
• Technical Excellence: Proven experience building large-scale, enterprise-grade platforms in SaaS, fintech, or accounting. Hands-on expertise with AI technologies (e.g., OpenAI, Llama) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Proficiency in Python and React/Redux.
• Leadership Experience: 10+ years in software development and 5+ years in senior leadership. Demonstrated success in managing and scaling engineering teams.
• Innovative Mindset: A strategic thinker who’s not afraid to challenge the status quo and drive transformative ideas.
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of B2B SaaS models, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into market-leading solutions.
• Exceptional Communication: Skilled at articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including investors and non-technical stakeholders.
• Cultural Fit: A builder who thrives in startup environments and embraces the challenges and rewards of scaling a high-growth company.
