Job Title: GenAI Manager 

 

Role Description: 

The GenAI Manager at PwC US will be responsible for leading and managing a team of developers and data engineers, with a focus on building Python-based applications and solutions leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. The role requires expertise in application development, data engineering, and a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. 

 

Education: 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) 

- Relevant certifications in Python programming, AI, ML, or data engineering (e.g., Python Institute Certified Associate, TensorFlow Developer Certificate, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty) are highly desirable 

 

Number of Years of Experience: 

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python-based application development and data engineering 

- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, overseeing teams and driving strategic initiatives 

 

Required Skills: 

- Proficiency in GenaAI based application development and a focus on leveraging AI and ML technologies 

- Strong Experience in Python programming and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) 

- Extensive experience in building scalable and robust applications using Python 

- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and technologies (e.g., ETL, data pipelines, data warehousing) 

- Familiarity with AI and ML concepts, algorithms, and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) 

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services 

- Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling 

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions 

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team 

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams 

- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends 

 

Responsibilities: 

- Lead and manage a team of developers and data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members 

- Design, develop, and deploy Python-based applications and solutions that leverage AI and ML technologies 

- Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and UX/UI designers, to deliver innovative and scalable solutions 

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, data engineering, and software development, and identify opportunities to apply them in client projects 

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement 

- Assist in project management activities, including estimating effort, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions 

- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions to address their challenges in AI, ML, and data engineering 

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes
