About the Role
This is a career-defining opportunity to play a crucial role in a hyper-scale AI company that is transforming the future of autonomous systems, energy, and the built environment.
As a Weather Simulation Engineer on the Computational Physics team at PassiveLogic, you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced weather simulation models that integrate with our Digital Twin platform. You will be responsible for creating accurate and high-fidelity weather simulations to enable precise analysis and optimization of building systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meteorology, data science, and simulation techniques, along with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology.
What you’ll do
- Climate modeling: Design, implement, and optimize weather simulation, meteorological, and microclimate models.
- Weather prediction: Provide weather prediction with contexts ranging from having an internet connection with forecast API access to no internet connection and only using locally observable information to forecast weather.
- Autonomous agents: Develop an autonomous agent that combines data fusion with continuous model learning to enhance prediction accuracy.
- Digital twin integration: Integrate weather simulation into PassiveLogic’s digital twins and control path predictor platform.
- Object modeling: Develop an interface with the object model through Object Relational Mapping.
- Data analysis: Analyze historical and real-time weather data and validate simulation results.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize simulation algorithms for performance and scalability.
- Documentation: Create thorough and clear documentation for weather simulation models, algorithms, and integration processes.
What you’ll bring
If your experience does not meet all our posted requirements below, we’d still love to hear from you. We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about understanding people, committed to lifelong learning, and driven by the love of what they do. If that’s you, please apply!
You must have
