The Development & Engineering System Industrialization DUV department is an enthusiastic and very diverse department with 25 different nationalities. You will be working in a technical environment, where we value a good atmosphere and have the care and attention for people.
We act as the interface between the development teams on one side and Operations on the other side.

Role and responsibility

The department’s strategy is to accelerate the time to maturity in the manufacturing, servicing and upgrade deliverables. Drive the operational excellence (efficient and effective) by the delivery of the industrialized products and processes from D&E to operations in line with their cost targets.

The innovation group drives, from an incubator role, solutions to shape the future to mature industrialized DUV products.

As a DUV Sr. Industrialization Innovation Engineer you:

• Will interact with your existing and growing network in ASML with various roles in the operational sectors, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Supply chain, to understand their needs and align on solutions to improve industrialization of the products. You already have a good understanding on the industrialization related challenges and have ideas on where the big impact on improvements can be made;
• Identify and initiate opportunities for major or future process and tooling improvements in the wide scope of all drivers of industrialization also based on the experience of your previous role(s);
• Interface with stakeholders in the department and Development and Engineering to predict, assess, drive and realize new insights by utilizing data analytics and machine learning. You have enough expertise to make the first prototypes and investigations;
• Conceptualize and steer meaningful solutions or prototype automations in the wide scope of product industrialization and you already can predict the usability on the scanners, the operational sectors and the embedding in e.g. IT environment;
• Help the team to define future improvements based on new technologies.

Education and experience

We are looking for someone with a technical Bachelor of Science or Master of Science

(e.g. Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Data Analytics, Data Automation, Process Mining, Applied Physics, Applied Science, or Industrial engineering). 

• Typically you will have more than 5 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary technical environments, preferably development/engineering/proto integration or technical in the operational sectors; 
• Experience in software development or data analytics and have an ambition to work in a high tech industry and further grow in our organization;
• Experience in or affinity with the machine industry preferably in semiconductor equipment development.

Skills

• High proficiency in programming languages and data systems like Python, SQL, PowerBI or similar.
• Technical knowledge of DUV Systems to perform business case impact and a broad scope (software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure, Business Intelligence & Analytics);
• Demonstrate communication skills with peers, input providers and users in x-sectorial environment with clear technical leadership results;
• Curious to work outside of your own competences;
• Ability to influence without power with impact on BL and department level and strong negotiation skills interacting with other sector;
• Team player, result oriented and taking technical leadership;
• Drive to improve processes in a highly complex environment with many stakeholders.
