Role Summary
Scania Group is seeking an experienced professional to lead the technical management of HR data across global systems. This role is key to ensuring data accuracy, availability, and consistent use within Scania’s HR ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in enabling digital HR initiatives aligned with Scania’s roadmap by developing a unified data strategy and implementing and managing a global data model across the system landscape. Additionally, fostering data literacy across HR and related departments will be a central focus. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep SAP expertise.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of data and privacy professionals with varying expertise, promoting operational excellence and ensuring compliance with reporting needs.
- Data Strategy: Develop and implement data management plans by interpreting organizational needs, translating them into actionable activities, and delivering results for Scania’s stakeholders.
- Data Management: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of HR data systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone LMS, Degreed LXP), ensuring integration and alignment across platforms.
- Governance: Ensure the availability, usability, integrity, and security of data in enterprise systems by applying internal data standards and policies. Utilize stakeholder engagement forums to implement data governance frameworks, maintain data quality, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Role-Based Permissions: Manage SAP SuccessFactors data security and role-based permissions (RBP), with expertise in audits and compliance frameworks. Analyze complex permission structures to recommend scalable solutions and align with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Change Leadership: Advocate for informed decision-making, drive data literacy, and represent Scania in data transformation projects.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to address data challenges and enhance Scania’s analytics capabilities.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to global data protection standards and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in enterprise HR systems management, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors and technical activities related to global HR data initiatives.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors structures, data governance, and HR reporting tools. Experience with ServiceNow, Cornerstone on Demand, or Degreed LXP is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead international teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results at a global scale. Experience in data implementation and system decommissioning is advantageous.
- Certifications: Certifications in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform, or related core modules are essential.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data management.
- Change Management: Proficiency in leading change initiatives and fostering data literacy within an organization.
