Role Summary

 

Scania Group is seeking an experienced, hands-on SAP SuccessFactors data management specialist to ensure the highest quality of HR data within our global system landscape, including the full SuccessFactors suite.

 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing HR data governance, quality, and availability within a large, multinational organization. This operational role requires full responsibility for ensuring data quality control, governance, and continuous improvement within our HR systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors.

 

As a technically skilled expert, you will be passionate about operational excellence and data integrity. The role demands someone who thrives in a hands-on, detail-oriented environment and takes pride in promoting best practices and leading by example across the organization.

 

As a hands-on SAP SuccessFactors data management specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of HR data within a large, global organization. You will have the opportunity to lead improvements, drive data-driven decision-making, and promote best practices across the organization.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Data Quality Control:

    • Take ownership of HR data quality across global HR systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
    • Continuously monitor, validate, and correct data to maintain integrity and accuracy.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Expertise:

    • Leverage deep knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (full suite) to manage, troubleshoot, and improve data quality across the global system landscape.
    • Act as a technical expert to ensure global data accuracy, reliability, and seamless operation.
  • Data Governance:

    • Enforce data governance practices to ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and global regulations.
    • Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive data catalogues and documentation, ensuring clear communication of data governance principles across the organization.
  • Training & Education:

    • Develop and deliver training programs to educate HR teams and business stakeholders on data handling practices, ensuring consistency, security, and alignment with Scania’s wider goals.
  • Project Management:

    • Lead HR data-related projects to improve data availability and governance, ensuring timely and successful execution.
    • Collaborate with global teams to implement data improvements, track milestones, and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Analysis & Reporting:

    • Use data analysis tools to proactively identify data inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
    • Produce regular data quality reports for global stakeholders and engage teams in following data governance best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Work closely with HR, IT, and other business units within TRATON Group to understand data requirements, resolve data issues, and ensure high-quality data availability across the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Regularly review and refine working practices to drive improvements in data collection, governance, quality control, and reporting.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Proven Experience:

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing global HR data in SAP SuccessFactors within a large multinational organization.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge and hands-on operational experience with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central.
    • SAP SuccessFactors certification in Employee Central, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Reporting and Analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Data Management Expertise:

    • Proven track record in taking personal responsibility for HR data quality in global systems.
    • Experience in creating and maintaining data catalogues and utilizing data validation tools.
  • Backlog Management:

    • Experience managing and executing service request backlogs effectively.
  • Project Management Skills:

    • Strong project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams on HR data initiatives.
    • Proficiency in using project management tools to track progress and outcomes.
  • Analytical Mindset:

    • Data-driven and analytical, with a passion for investigating and improving data quality.
    • Skilled in identifying trends and issues to drive actionable improvements.
  • Detail-Oriented:

    • Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach to ensuring data integrity across all HR systems.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Ability to lead technical discussions and act as the subject matter expert in global working groups focused on HR data within SAP SuccessFactors.
