As an Options Trading Analyst, you will assist in research, strategy development, trade execution, and risk management. Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, volatility, and price movements to identify trading opportunities.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on options strategies and underlying assets.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on market conditions and trade performance.
• Assist in the execution of options trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance with trading guidelines.
• Monitor open positions and adjust strategies based on market developments.
• Collaborate with investment management and advisors to optimize clients’ portfolio performance.
• Develop and backtest options strategies using historical data.
• Use statistical models and financial tools to evaluate strategy performance.
• Utilize trading platforms, data analytics tools, and financial software to support trading activities.
• Contribute to the development of in-house tools for data analysis and strategy testing.
• Automate manual processes relating to option trade execution.
• Monitor risk exposures and ensure adherence to risk limits.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential trading risks in client portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python, R, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with trading platforms, data visualization tools, and Salesforce is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to process large datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Understanding of options trading, financial derivatives, and risk management principles.
• Knowledge of financial markets and macroeconomic factors influencing them.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and trading strategies.
• Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative on assigned projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a trading or financial analysis role.
• Certification or coursework in derivatives, such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range below is an estimate and may be modified in the future.
