Fullscript is looking to hire a Catalog Data Manager to join our Merchandising team. The ideal Catalog Data Manager will call on their expertise in master data management, data governance, and data quality control to effectively oversee the data elements of a complex product catalog. Complete, accurate catalog data is critical to the success of several functions, including Technology, Finance, Category Management, Merchandising, and Product Development. Working alongside key business functions, the Catalog Data Manager will own every component of product data, and will implement processes to ensure that Fullscript’s foundational data is best-in-class.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have an extremely high attention to detail, will be able to prioritize effectively, and will consistently produce high quality results. Additionally, the candidate must be an experienced leader, having run teams responsible for the day-to-day mechanics of managing high volumes of data. Ideal candidates will be process-oriented, seeking to build repeatable processes that scale and grow with the company, with a high degree of emphasis on simplicity and efficiency.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Category, Supplier, Clinical, Data, Product, Engineering, and IT) to ensure a smooth flow of information from internal and external sources into our core Fullscript systems.
- Define, implement, and maintain team KPIs, data policies, standards, and processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Plan and facilitate the exposure of new data elements: manage intake and assess requests for new data attributes to drive Fullscript system
- Continuously improve the quality of the end-to-end process, including data quality audits and process reviews.
- Establish a roadmap of improvements for the optimization of supplier and product data into the Fullscript systems.
- Partner with IT & Engineering to bring improved tooling for Product Information Management.
- Effectively manage and drive a team to successful outcomes, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive in when needed.
What You Bring To The Table:
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand what those details mean to the business.
- The ability to speak both business and technical language, effectively bridging the gap between the needs of the business and the technical elements required to satisfy those needs.
- A high degree of organization and accountability.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build and maintain relationships with internal customers.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and present to colleagues at all levels of the company.
- The ability to identify gaps and inconsistencies within large data sets, and a demonstrated ability to plan and execute the resolution of issues within a clearly communicated timeframe.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in data management or data governance; preferably in the CPG or Retail world.
- Experience leading a team to consistently successful outcomes; skilled in prioritization, delegation, resource management and efficiency
- Proven experience in data policy development, data quality management, and data process improvement.
- Proficient in data modeling, data mapping, data warehousing, and data integration.
- Experience tying business strategy to data requirements, and developing organized execution plans.
- Familiarity with relevant technology and software platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
