Overview

Transaction Network Services (TNS), a subsidiary of Koch Industries, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI Labs. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets, develop advanced machine learning models, and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive data-driven decision-making and unlock actionable insights for the organization.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning to solve global business challenges.
  • Develop, train, and deploy predictive models using modern machine learning tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis to uncover patterns and trends.
  • Collaborate with domain experts and stakeholders to interpret requirements and deliver analytics-driven solutions.
  •  Design and deploy scalable AI solutions using cloud engineering principles.
  •  Partner with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
  • Implement MLOps practices for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Communicate insights through clear reports and visual presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.

Education & Experience: 

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Telecomunications or related fields.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a data science role, focusing on production-grade solutions.
  • Background in telecommunications and knowledge of industry regulations is a plus.
  • Expertise in handling large datasets with emphasis on data privacy and security.


Technical Skills: 

  • Strong Python skills and proficiency in data science frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Expertise in audio processing and natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
  • Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., Docker, AWS EMR, AWS SageMaker).
  • Strong foundation in software engineering and development practices.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages like Scala or Go is a plus.


Communication:

  • Proven record of verbal and written communication skills for engaging with international teams.
  • Ability to articulate complex analytical results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
