About the Role

As a member of the InvestCloud HR team, the HR Data & Analytics Manager is responsible for cleaning, validating, organizing, managing and presenting data for HR-related processes, projects, and initiatives. You will be a link between the HR Operations team, project management, finance, and company leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for data management related to HR and company initiatives including: the performance review process, compensation data, AI and process improvements. You will use technology to automate and integrate solutions to drive strategic decisions.

What does a great HR Data & Analytics Manager do?

The HR Data & Analytics Manager will gather, validate, organize, analyze and interpret HR data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance HR practices. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of HR processes.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

Data Management:

  • Collect, maintain, and update HR data related to employee performance, compensation, and other HR metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular audits and validations.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance management process by providing accurate data and insights.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Compensation Program:

  • Manage data related to compensation programs, including salary surveys, market analysis, and internal equity assessments.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support compensation decisions.

Workforce Planning Exercises:

  • Conduct workforce analysis to support talent management and recruitment strategies.

AI Integration:

  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to integrate AI solutions into HR processes and systems.
  • Use AI tools to analyze HR data and generate predictive insights.

Metrics and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track key metrics.
  • Present data and insights to HR leadership, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.

Project Management and Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with HR and other teams to streamline reporting processes, improve data accuracy, and plan future data structures and deployment processes.
  • Development and implementation of automation processes and standards to drive operational efficiencies, utilizing systematic methods to boost productivity, and facilitate change.
  • Serve as the master data focal point to enhance HR process automation.
  • Coordinate large scale significant data-gathering exercises, and associated system updates of this gathered data. Implement procedures related to the secure and efficient collection, handling and sharing of data.
  • Use of technology solutions such as Excel, MS Forms, Power Automate, Jira, ZenDesk, etc.

Insights and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data to identify patterns and correlations.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic HR initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of HRIS and related controls.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Demonstrated ability to apply HR Data Analytics KSA’s as demonstrated through a combination of work experience, academic achievement, and/or professional certifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Several years of related in-depth experience in HR data management, analytics, or a related field.
    • Degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • SHRM-CP, HRCI PHR, or similar certification a plus.
  • Technology/Computer Proficiency
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, HRIS systems, BI tools).
    • Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • HRIS, LMS, and related HR systems.
    • AI and predictive tools.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player with a talent for collaborating and fostering productive relationships within HR and across different the business functions and organizations.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently and meeting deadlines under tight time constraints.
  • Skilled in presentations, both in-person and virtual formats: creating impactful slides, delivering them effectively to senior leadership, and responding to spontaneous questions with in-depth business insight.
  • Exhibits a high level of attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and auditing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to manage and evaluate data management vendors; good negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, especially as it applies to data management.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule to meet company and employee needs across multiple time zones and countries.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000
