The Team – your impact
We are looking for a Technical Product Owner (f/m/d) to lead the development and operation of a company-wide data model and related products like the Asset Register. In this role, you will bridge business needs with technical solutions, create a digital roadmap, and oversee its implementation with a DevOps team.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Translate the business needs of EIS (Energy Infrastructure Solutions) into technical requirements
- Identify and prioritize non-functional requirements based on business value
- Collaborate with the business stakeholders to develop and implement a digital roadmap and rollout plan for scaling across the EIS units
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery and operations of the EIS data model and adjacent products such as the Asset Register, ensuring adherence to E.ON's architecture and security guidelines
- Drive the implementation by a DevOps team based on continuous integration and development. Provide mentorship and onboarding to the team
- Define governance standards and monitor the EIS digital product to ensure stable performance, including the recharging model from a DT perspective
- Manage service levels of the respective Digital product and for third party vendors involved (if any)
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- Strong ability to work both independently and within a team, paired with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, product management frameworks, and experience with Scrum or Kanban
- Strong technical background in power and heat generation and distribution with a detailed understanding of the underlying physical and thermodynamical processes
- Extensive experience of analysis, simulation, and optimization of thermodynamic processes
- Solid understanding of information security, data protection, and enterprise architecture principles
- A business-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills to build and deliver digital solutions / products
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English, with familiarity in DevOps culture and practices as an advantage
