WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Senior Manager, Analytics - Data Desk will play a high-profile role serving as the “Face of Data” for the Data Team, towards accelerating decision making, insights, and ultimately business performance through Data. The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts and handle a mixture of both routine and complex tasks, ranging from fielding ad-hoc requests through a ticket system, to managing the Enterprise Data Calendar and activities such as month-end and quarter-end report close. This is an incredible opportunity to work across a range of BI problem areas and multiple business domains, with team members around the business and around the globe. The successful individual will collaborate daily with senior leadership towards accelerating data-driven decision-making across all of Kaseya.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Desk: Ensure the timely triage of incoming requests, ranging from ad-hoc report requests, to BI tool access, to metrics “how-to” questions. Manage to a well-defined SLA for response and closure.
- Data Calendar: Manage the Enterprise Data Calendar to “keep the operations running” across the Data Office and ensure on-time delivery of data outputs, such as the Month End and Quarter End report close.
- Data-Driven Insights: Help analyze complex data from various data to provide actionable insights on various topics, ranging from sales performance, customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, and overall strategy. Develop regular and ad-hoc reports that highlight trends and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Guide the team in regularly improving processes, practices, and capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between the Data Team and routine Data requests, ensuring business requests are listened to, responded to, and addressed in a timely manner.
- Technology & Tools: Oversee the introduction of innovative tools to improve the performance and responsiveness of the Data Desk. Recommend improvements to foundational Data systems, BI tools, and dashboards.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven decision-making, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management position.
- 3+ years in a people management role, working through several review, budget, and performance management scenarios.
- Operational mindset with the consistency and focus to keep routine deliverables running smoothly.
- Experience with an IT-helpdesk or a similar type of business-facing enablement function a major plus.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience building high-performing teams.
- Extensive analytics experience in one or more of the following business domains: Marketing, Sales, Finance, People, Product.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requests into action and tangible results.
- Proven track record of using data and analytics to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to manage work through a ticket/issue system (e.g., Asana, JIRA).
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Google Analytics).
