About Us

Advex is a seed stage tech startup backed by Construct Capital, PearVC, and the founders of Dropbox and Gradient Ventures. Our team comes with over a decade of industry and research experience from top organizations and labs like CMU, Berkeley AI Research Lab, Google Brain, Scale AI, and Qualcomm. We've previously founded and sold companies and created products used over 30 million times. Our team has also published research papers and won research competitions at top conferences like ICLR, ICML, AAAI.

Role Description

As a Member of Sales Staff, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing on the company's Go To Market strategy. Your hands-on involvement will include working directly with our CEO to create and execute on GTM strategy, reach exciting revenue targets, and scale Fortune 500 accounts. As we expand, your sales leadership will be instrumental in supporting and expanding our GTM engine. This role emphasizes exposure to customers across the sales pipeline, including conferences for customer acquisition, PoC design, and land and expand motions.

• Scaling existing accounts from some of the largest ($50b+ market cap) companies in the world across consumer electronics, automotive, and energy

• Landing even more impressive and highly visible accounts

• Represent Advex at major industry trade shows, speaking events, and interviews

Product: Self serve (in most cases) web tool that 

• improves vision AI performance significantly - by 40%-200% showcased in this work with NVIDIA

• reduces costs by significantly time spent on data collection - by 90% showcased in this case study

• delivers all this value in just 2 hours

About You

We are seeking a candidate who embodies the following qualifications and characteristics:

• Sold non-established, pre-RFP products that people don't know they need yet

• Experience selling a product that is frequently evolving

• Experience developing and adapting GTM and Account Strategies

• Detail oriented, Responsive, Competitive, and High-Urgency

Some nice-to-haves (but not requirements) are:

• Has worked in machine vision or manufacturing before

• Has a basic knowledge of Python

• Uses AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude on a daily basis
