As a Data Engineer your role will be to support the Programs and Product teams in building reliable data pipelines. It is a multi-faceted role that includes understanding the business problem, designing and building data solutions for internal/external stakeholders which accurately reflects application performance as well as visualising the data.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Working alongside the different team members and partners to develop and execute complex data engineering solutions to meet the requirements of the different stakeholders.
Develop, deploy, and manage data pipelines that process large volumes of data for internal and external reporting purposes. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data engineering tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Composer and Data Studio is essential.
Define and apply cleansing rules to the data to ensure meets quality expectations.
Support the implementation of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.
Based on requirements, perform ad-hoc analysis of structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources to inform solution design.
Document solution designs in Notion.
Ownership of Work Items and works with data owners / stewards to ensure high quality, aligned deliveries, and compliance with legislation, such as GDPR, e.g. PII vs non-PII, data retention, etc.

Requirements
A hands-on, do-er who is passionate to deliver excellence with the following attributes:
3+ years of experience in data engineering and some familiarity with data science.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and their data services.
Proficient in SQL and Python or similar languages for data engineering as well as Apache Airflow.
Strong repositories, CI/CD skills.
Familiarity with ETL processes.
Strong analytics and analysis skills in data engineering and data science.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work with Executives, Managers, and individual contributors at all levels.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment which allows you to adapt and deliver results under pressure. A demonstrable track record of getting stuff done whilst managing competing pressures and deadlines and retaining an eye for detail and quality.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and be able to multitask and manage multiple work streams and problems simultaneously.
