Job Summary

SHI has an exciting new opportunity to join a growing team of experts. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented candidate to take on our ICS Value Stream Data Analyst role. The ICS Value Stream Data Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining Value Stream KPIs, providing insight into the process where production deviates from benchmarks and working with process stakeholders to clarify and improve the data-oriented processes while working to keep information clean and flowing to all team members.

 

This is a hybrid position reporting to the Director – ICS Projects and Support and is performed at SHI’s (Knox) Piscataway, NJ office location.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all functional data, business analytics and SLA projects for Integration Services
  • Develop dashboards to monitor KPIs around departmental focus on efficiency and delivery, understanding of process performance and potential points of process degradation
  • Analyze monthly summaries detailing the work performed, comparing to previous months and years and present data to appropriate stakeholders
  • Provide and articulate data to internal teams, ensuring clarity and understanding across a variety of positions and teams
  • Provide innovative analytical insights of Value Stream KPIs
  • Develop and improve reporting structures across all touch points of the Value Stream
  • Review the current model of information transfer between our customers and SHI to identify inconsistencies and inaccuracies to improve the overall communication process
  • Work with data teams to develop methodologies to automate the capture of baseline cycle times for future monitoring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst and experience in data management, analysis, and reporting
  • 1-2 years of experience with Power Query, VBA (or similar automation language)
  • Data modeling and report/dashboard building experience
  • Advanced levels of experience with Excel

Unique Requirements

  • Strong understanding of SHI Integration Center Processes, Policies, and Procedures
  • Extended hours are required to complete some special projects

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
