Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clientsâ objectives in important areas.
- Help coordinate a business analyst teamâs duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support
- Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impactÂ
- Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project
- Analyze, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business processes to support clientâs technology goals
- Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results  Â
- Exercise your ability to use basic analytical or relational database software â such as Excel or SQL â to quantify the anticipated impact of workÂ
What we're looking for
- Nine or more years of experience as a combination of Business Analyst / Data Analyst, with 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experienceÂ
- Strong in SQLÂ
- Understanding of SSIS and SSRS.(interfaces and reporting) is a plus
- Experience working with clients to gather requirements and mapping end products.
- Strong US PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Managers) domain knowledge is required.
- Experience in large corporate (matrix) environment, and be familiar with the following:
A keen understanding of and be able to audit change requests for reasonable testing practices, and detailed implementation plans. - Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
