Job Role:  

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer – Generative AI who is functionally leading the team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of AI and based out of Noida, this individual will be in charge of leading systems design, architecture, and documentation, developing risk management plans, and leading sprint planning. This role will be leading a team and will write code regularly when bandwidth permits. We’re looking for a humble, servant leader, who isn’t afraid to lead from the front and push the team to reach their goals. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who understands technical systems in depth, is an avid developer, and an even better architect. You will need to understand AI and prompt engineering, but even more importantly, you will need to understand how to build relationships with developers and motivate them to follow your lead.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:  

• Lead a team of developers with a “lead by example and from the front” mentality.  

• Lead system requirement gathering, writing of user stories, system architecture design, and documentation. 

• Develop Risk Management Plans and manage risk throughout the project  

• Coach the team and help them become better at their respective roles. 

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. You will jump in and be hands-on with different deliverables as bandwidth allows.  

• Participate in peer reviews with your team members – you will be leading the team, but also working hand in hand to make sure projects get done at lightning speed. 

• Debug with the team and be involved in the QA process. 

• Create new and enhance existing services, as well as integrations using .NET (C#), Java, Delphi, SQL Server, Angular, and other technologies.  

• Develop and fine-tune prompts for known large language models (LLMs) to enhance AI model performance using techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).  

• Integrate third-party and internal custom solutions into our portfolio of software products. Monitor and maintain API services in production environments.  

You Are a Good Fit for This Job If You:  

• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation. 

• Have 5+ years of total experience, with experience as a developer, systems engineer or software architect, and/or product owner.  

• Have 2+ years of experience designing and architecting systems. 

• Have 2+ Years of experience with generative AI prompt engineering using technologies like GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and Gemini. 

• Have 2+ Years of experience with .NET (C#), Java, or SQL Server (or a combination of these technologies). 

• Have startup experience – a plus.  

• Have Delphi, Angular (JavaScript) experience – a plus. 

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have the equivalent in relevant work experience.
