As a Machine Vision Solution Manager, you will create, implement, and manage the local product plans for QMS (Quality Management Solutions) in North America, primarily for the Valmet IQ Machine Vision solutions to support the Sales, Delivery and Services. Additionally, this candidate will develop strong relationships with customers to drive sales.

Main responsibilities include:

•           Provide Application Engineering support in terms of audits, technical evaluations, and performance analysis, as required.

•           Provide technical advice to the sales team and customers to develop, sell, and successfully implement product or service solutions that will meet the customer’s needs.

•           Respond to inquiries from the organization's sales force or customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services, and prepare quotations to customers to meet their technical requirements and expectations, commercial conditions from sales, and delivery times from the factory.

•           Responsible for defining performance guarantees for sales cases

•           Responsible for assisting Sales Management in the achievement of the Company’s volume, shipments and inventory objectives for Machine Vision.

•           Support sales and the distribution channel and manage complaints and issues affecting customer orders, liaising where necessary with sales, service, finance and operations to solve order issues.

•           Function as the technical and marketing liaison between North America and the corporate product line organization in Finland.

•           Responsible for reference management including results collection, reference stories together with Marketing, Actively promotes the product externally and internally (training/ promotion/ repackaging).

Education/Experience

Well qualified candidate will have:

Demonstrated leadership and team building abilities

Ability to make concise and sound business recommendations based on in depth analysis of complex price, cost, usage, forecast, inventory, and other pertinent data using Excel or database tools. 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field, preferably in industrial manufacturing including sales

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering or Pulp & Paper Science.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% is required.
