Job Description
DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for managing the complete project lifecycle for new data integration, data integrity, and data standardization centered on single source of truth; use Teradata SQL for statistical and empirical data analysis aimed at anomaly detection; write, debug, and execute automation scripts for data validation and testing using Python; collaborate with a cross-functional team to support dimensional data models, including star schemas, in a relational database for executive level reporting; collaborate across multiple teams to understand business needs, analyze complex data, and integrate campaign and marketing data with other company data assets; work with business units to document requirements for enterprise base and semantic layer; identify and build source to target mapping for marketing data attributes; work with management teams in estimating timelines; maintain detailed documentation through data lifecycle processing; develop business rules and logic for data; create test plans and execute User Acceptance Testing for data projects; partner with HQ systems engineering and business units to process data within Teradata, AWS, Hadoop and Horton Works; review output of data quality validations, analyze alerts, and escalate for corrective action; profile and analyze enterprise data to determine data quality validations and identify potential data issues; and partner with data architecture and project management teams through the project lifecycle. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience using SQL for statistical and empirical data analysis aimed at anomaly detection; creating dashboards and analyzing data on Tableau; building and monitoring performance of KPIs; triaging, documenting, and resolving data quality issues using JIRA and Wiki Confluence; of which one (1) year includes writing, debugging, and executing automation scripts for data validation and testing using Python; and analyze and manipulate data from multi-dimensional data models, including star schemas, in a relational database using Teradata and AWS.
