About the Role
Are you a meticulous and strategic data professional with a passion for ensuring data integrity and governance? Info-Tech is seeking a Director, Data Quality & Governance who thrives on challenges and is eager to make a significant impact. This role is role will own Data Governance and Data Management programs and be the Data Steward for master data for the organization. This includes data maintenance, auditing and policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities
- Roll out a data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture
- Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets
- Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning
- Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
- Provide guidance on opportunities to streamline data management; Assist with development of data standards through identification of gaps in current standards and opportunity to increase efficiencies.
- Maintain documentation on common data dictionaries, data usage and governance roadmap
Experience / Qualifications:
- At least 10+ years of experience within Data and analytics space.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in data quality management and data governance. A track record of successfully managing data quality and governance projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong documentation skills and experience with data governance processes. Proficiency in data quality tools and technologies.
- Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with a commitment to excellence. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with precision.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent demonstrable skill/work experience.
