Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to lead R&D efforts in leveraging LLMs for transformative business applications. This is a 10-month remote contract role requiring 4–8 years of experience in machine learning.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in machine learning and software development.

• Expertise in Python and software architecture patterns.

• Experience with LLM-based solutions (prompt engineering, LangChain, LlamaIndex).

• Hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.

• Proven track record of delivering production-grade software.

• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset for experimentation and validation.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for AI innovation.

• Strong coding discipline (clean, testable, maintainable code).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RAG solutions, vector databases, or GraphRAG.

• Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning, quantization, and self-hosting.

• Knowledge of LLM-related security issues like prompt injection and data poisoning.

• Active GitHub contributions (please include links).

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D to incorporate LLMs into company operations.

• Prototype, architect, and implement LLM-based solutions from concept to production.

• Experiment with the latest AI tools and technologies.

• Collaborate with top engineers and researchers to address complex challenges.

• Stay updated with developments in AI/ML, especially LLMs.
