Essential Job Functions

  • We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer who is responsible for improving organizational capabilities by working closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Develop strong product sense to design KPI reporting to help improve overall workflow efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Document processes and procedures using standard methodologies and tools.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop data models that support business requirements and optimize for performance and scalability.
  • Design and create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to present key business metrics. Ensure dashboards provide insights to improve overall product efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract, transform, and load data from across the organization into our data warehouse. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from different sources, ensuring data consistency and coherence across the organization.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the performance of existing BI solutions. Continuously monitor and fine-tune queries and processes for efficiency.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to identify and plan improvements (process and technology) including identifying the current process, applying best practices, and creating performance measurements.
  • Lead non-conformance investigation into process outliers, including root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive actions.

What we're looking for

 

  • 3 years' experience in SQL / NoSQL.
  • 2 years' experience in any scripting language (Python preferred).
  • 3 years' experience with data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI).
  • 2 years' experience building automated data pipelines.
  • Healthcare experience or related degree is a plus.
