Job Description
- Conduct maker and/or checker functions for all static data input regarding the establishment of new account, new EAM/Finder relationship & subsequent structure change of existing account relationship are compliance with legislations, regulations & bank policies
- Perform document review for account opening documentation and client static data updates during the client lifecycle
- Ensure maintenance of accurate document deficiencies records & client static data in core banking system for Frontline colleagues’ handling
- Liaise with Frontline, Business Management & other related counterparties on documentation issues to facilitate the client on-boarding process
- Give advice to Frontline colleagues’ daily queries related to documentation requirements for new or existing clients
- Analyze and update all existing client data to identify and address any client data quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions as needed, engaging with key functions in the bank
- Perform static data maintenance of client database (Avaloq) and documentation system when necessary
- Perform independent call back per regulatory requirements
- Approve clients’ requests for all other banking services handling by the team, ensure follow up actions for the requests and periodical control actions are in place
- Check & ensure accuracy of various management & regulatory reports before submitting to Head of Client Data Management
- Deliver training, guidance and coaching to junior team members & new recruits, review their work to ensure accuracy and contribute towards the optimization of team efficiency
- Provide regular progress reports to Head of CDM and ensures progress is executed to plan
- Build strong working relationships with SMEs to deliver best practice processes and take ownership of client data quality improvements and remediation efforts
- Participate in any ad-hoc tasks, projects, system enhancement UAT, remediation exercises as assigned by Head of Client Data Management or Head of Business Services from time to time
Requirements
• Degree holder in Finance, Accountancy or Business Administration;
• At least 5 years’ experience gained in banking or securities industries in Hong Kong;
• Solid experience in documentation review is a must
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under pressure;
• Good written and spoken English;
• Quick learner, adaptable and flexible;
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to details;
• Solid knowledge of MS Office applications
