Job Description

Role Purpose: 

The Manager, SAP S4 Data Quality is a critical role for NBCUniversal’s SAP S/4 HANA implementation, “Project Keystone.” This position will work with colleagues across the global NBCU Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in our finance digital transformation from design to deployment. This role will be an important part of ensuring inclusive design decisions, effective change management and substantial transformation.

You will provide expertise in identifying the relevant master and transactional data required to support business processes, operational insights, and analytics. The focus will be on validating the functional data requirements, data validation for finance, data clean up and change management in the field of data governance. This role requires a blend of functional expertise in SAP S/4 business processes and understanding of data governance methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for next generation ERP Finance Solutions data design and migration. 
  • Periodically participate in workshops and sessions around data migration scope, design, and validation, serving as a SPOC during data dry runs and validations.
  • Ensure involvement of the right NBCU SME support to validate the data migrated and get the sign off for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure data quality is reviewed and KPIs are meeting agreed upon standards.
  • Collaborate with functional (RTR, OTC, AP) and technical teams to troubleshoot data migration errors and ensure data integrity.
  • Effectively communicate data validation plans and progress to stakeholders, including business users and project management.
  • Translate data governance and stewardship policies and processes to functional colleagues and clearly communicate the value and benefits it brings to downstream processes.
  • Provide operational support seeking opportunities as a SME within your pillar for areas of data stewardship process improvements, cleansing and automation.
  • Be a change agent for the SAP S/4 transformation.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Information Systems and a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in SAP preferably on a S4 Transformation.
  • Solid SAP Master Data Strategy experience: practical experience with SAP Data-related tools (e.g., Data Analytics, SAP MDG).
  • Experience in master data governance/stewardship related to Business Partner, Vendor, Customer.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration skills.

Desired Characteristics:

  • 2+ years of Media & Entertainment industry experience is desired.

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
