About the role

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution Architect is a senior technical role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions to address business challenges. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, architect scalable AI systems, and ensure successful implementation. The AI Solution Architect combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Architecture

• Design end-to-end AI solutions that meet business objectives, technical requirements, and scalability needs.
• Develop architecture blueprints for AI systems, including data pipelines, machine learning models, APIs, and deployment strategies.
• Select the most appropriate AI frameworks, tools, and technologies for specific use cases.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with business leaders to understand challenges and identify areas where AI can provide value.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, and IT teams to implement solutions.
• Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into actionable business insights.

Technical Implementation

• Lead the technical implementation of AI solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and industry standards.
• Define and implement workflows for data collection, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Oversee the deployment and integration of AI systems into existing infrastructure.

Governance and Risk Mitigation

• Establish and enforce guidelines for responsible AI use, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to AI, including bias, data privacy, and security concerns.
• Continuously monitor the performance and reliability of AI systems, addressing issues proactively.

Research and Innovation

• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, methodologies, and trends.
• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the potential of new AI tools and approaches.
• Drive innovation by exploring and applying novel AI solutions to complex business problems.

Essential requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or software development, with at least 2 years in a solution architecture role.
• Proven track record of designing and deploying AI solutions at scale.
• Expertise in AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or R.
• Knowledge of data engineering practices, including ETL processes and database management.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, governance, and compliance.
