Data are crucial in supporting both people and communities across Camden and we are investing in our data capabilities to realise social value in new and exciting ways, creating new insights into complex social issues and the lived experiences of people across the borough.
We believe that data rights are human rights and have published our first of a kind Data Charter which presents the principles by which we ensure that data are used for public good in a transparent, ethical and accountable way.
We have an appetite for innovation, and the work of our data analysts increasingly uses tools such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Generative AI to expand our data capacity
How You’ll Be Involved
We are seeking 7 Data Analysts to support the following service areas: Adult Social Care, Education, Housing, Voids and Repairs, and Early Help
The work is varied. It involves ongoing dialogue with decision makers, design and development of efficient and accessible data models and reporting pipelines, and delivery of intelligently designed data products. The roles combine regulatory compliance, business intelligence to support effective service delivery, and research projects to derive new insights that enabled evidence based strategic decision making.
As a Data Analyst in Camden, you will be an effective data analysis practitioner, using relevant skills, tools, and techniques to supports us in delivering for the people of Camden.
You will serve as a key point of contact for decision makers within our services, acting as an expert in data analysis and ensuring that decision making is informed by data. You will also operate within Camden’s community of Data Analyst, sharing skills and collaborating on cross-cutting projects.
