Your Role and Responsibilities
Our team is committed to providing senior National Security leaders with decision-worthy data and analysis to improve the effectiveness of Intelligence systems supporting DoD Warfighters. The team conducts empirical analysis to provide definitive accounts of DoD ISR and Intelligence system contributions to operations and generates data-driven acquisition recommendations for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, OUSD(I&S). We are seeking a TS//SCI cleared Data Engineer with a variety of technical skills, a curiosity to learn and innovate, and general understanding of the defense intelligence enterprise. Our data engineering team leverages open-source scripting and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze and display data in decision support tools for senior leaders within the Department of Defense.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- US Citizen with active TS//SCI clearance or show immediate eligibility according to DISS security database (SCI within last 2 years)
- 3+ years of experience applying data engineer or software development skills to develop analytic tools, deliver mission support services and create data visualization capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience using programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java, Visual Basic for Applications, R) to deliver data engineering and/or software development services.
- Experience developing and delivering technology in at least two of the following areas: data analytics, machine learning, data visualization, geospatial analysis, web services, or database development.
- Experience in web design and development using HTML and CSS.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3+ years of general experience in the military or intelligence community; exposure to ISR capabilities is highly desired
- 3+ year of experience with database development (e.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL) or Web Development (e.g. JavaScript, React,Node.js)
- 3+ years of experience in leading data engineering or software development teams
- Experience and/or proficiency in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Natural Language Processing
