Job Title - Global Master Data Quality Manager

About this Role

We are seeking a Global Master Data Quality Manager - HR Master Data to take ownership of data quality initiatives in the HR domain. This role requires expertise in HR master data management, data lineage, and a strong understanding of global HR processes. As a key leader in our data quality efforts, you will establish robust data governance practices, enforce data quality standards, and work collaboratively with HR Department, IT Department (HR Applications), and business and functional teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant HR data for Diageo.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality Leadership - Lead and be responsible for all data quality management activities related to HR master data, ensuring compliance with global standards and policies.

Rule Development - Define, implement, and enforce data quality rules, standards, and metrics for HR data, such as employee records, organizational structures, and payroll information.

Root Cause Analysis - Identify and resolve data quality issues through detailed analysis, working closely with HR, and IT teams to implement corrective actions.

Data Cleansing and Validation - Design and implement workflows for data cleansing, validation, and ongoing monitoring to uphold data integrity and reliability.

Migration Support - Guide in HR data migration and transformation efforts during system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

Governance and Compliance - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to HR data governance practices and compliance with organizational and legal standards.

Training and Awareness - Develop training materials and conduct sessions to promote data quality awareness and best practices within HR and related functions.

Skills and Experience

Qualified HR Master Data Specialist - Expertise in HR Master Data, including data governance and data quality management.

Industry Expertise - Experience working specifically with FMCG/CPG products, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific challenges and needs.

Technical Proficiency -

Operational knowledge of SAP S4 HANA and Ariba.

Extensive experience with SAP MDG, particularly for HR Master Data.

Data Analytics and Problem-Solving - Strong analytical skills to identify, address, and resolve data-related challenges, enhancing efficiencies in master data management.

Process and Business Insights - Deep understanding of business processes and the ability to align master data practices with organizational goals.

Master Data Management Operations - Prior experience or exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) operations, showcasing an ability to streamline and optimize data workflows.

Professional Qualification / Experience

Demonstrable experience in HR master data management, data quality, or a related field.

Solid understanding of HR processes, including employee lifecycle, organizational hierarchies, and payroll systems.

Familiarity with global data governance frameworks and tools for monitoring and improving data quality.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach.

Good communication and documentation skills to develop and present data quality strategies and training materials.

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

Overall experience: 6+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2+ years in HR Master Data

Strong expertise in HR domain processes or equivalent process such as talent acquisition, payroll, and employee lifecycle management.
