Would you like to work in a global consulting company that is the market leader in Data & AI? We are now looking for Cloud Data Platform & AI Engineering Trainees to join our AI & Data team. Your role will focus on modern data platform development and utilizing next generation tools and technologies to drive value from data. 

We would like you to start your four-month Trainee period in August 2025 or as otherwise agreed. We are primarily looking for a Trainee who could continue with us also after the Trainee period as permanent employee.  

Job Description

As a Trainee you will be a valued part of the team in our varied client assignments where data is utilized in decision making. Your tasks can include, for example, setting up cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data platforms, development of data processing pipelines, solutions leveraging GenAI/LLM models, coding algorithms, and visualizing the data. In your role you get to know the agile ways of working, attend relevant training, and verify your learnings with certificates. We can promise your learning curve at Deloitte to be steep but also getting active support from your own coach and the AI & Data team. We want to offer our professionals as flexible working conditions as possible and thus, we work in a hybrid model. This means that we work at our cozy office at Ruoholahti, at our clients and flexibly remotely.  

Qualifications

Do you have the passion for developing data-driven solutions with a relaxed and motivated team? Would you like to work and deepen your knowledge on cloud data platforms, data engineering, data modeling, programming, data analyzing and visualizing? Then you’d probably fit well in our team! 

To succeed in this role, we wish you have:  

• a recent master’s/bachelor’s degree or ongoing master studies (for example in information technology, computer science, etc.)   

• willingness and possibly familiarity working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)  

• experience in SQL   

• fluent language skills in English (fluency in Finnish language is seen as plus)  

• enthusiasm to work with others, both with colleagues and clients  

In addition, the following will be considered a strong advantage: 

• knowledge about common software development practices, cloud infrastructure provisioning, databases, data platforms, data warehousing and ETL / data pipelines  

• experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C# etc. 

We also appreciate your willingness to work with DevOps technologies and principles as well as interest or experience in modern API-integrations, full stack development, intelligent automation or containers. We are hoping to see your eagerness to truly develop data-driven solutions for our clients together with our team!
