Reports developer – Power BI

Job Summery:

At least 2 years hands on experience in implementing solutions using SharePoint Online, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps Customer Interaction, Requirement Analysis and Issue resolution
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

SQL:

• Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Create and modify database structures, schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts to automate database tasks.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through proper documentation and alignment to standard methodologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to support business needs.

Power Platform

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with partners to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Fix and resolve database and reporting issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and standard methodologies in SQL development and Power BI.
• Document processes, procedures, and workflows related to database and report development.

 You are a quick learner, willingness to improve and have a problem solving and collaborative approach. Having User centric approach, good analytical skills to understand topics in broader perspective. You always keep the end in sight; puts in extra effort to meet deadlines. You are inter-personal savvy and have excellent verbal and written Communications Skills.
    For This Role, You Will Need:

• in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience as an SQL Developer and Power BI Developer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Knowledge of database design and data modelling.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
   

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Min. 5 years of work experience developing data-driven applications using SQL Database.
• Min 3 years of experience using Power Platforms like Power BI Desktop, Power Automate or Power Apps.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R will be added advantage.
• Certification in SQL or Power BI will be addon.
