About the Role 

Managers at CookUnity partner with other leaders across the organization to build teams, develop individuals, and bring analytical excellence to help drive the iterative product lifecycle. They’re also experts in their areas, using their knowledge and experience to create the space for others to succeed whilst maintaining 70/30 hands-on to contribute directly to our learning and growth. They embed within teams they support, achieving a marriage of minds with their stakeholders and an integration of objectives and workflows of. They work across the team with business, product, and marketing managers, to create data about user behaviors, discover unmet needs, set metrics that measure performance, and design & execute experiments to generate learnings and evidence their success. Where needed, they leverage machine learning methods as the basis of even deeper insights, uncovering patterns in user behavior that the human mind simply cannot process (e.g. through unsupervised learning).

We're looking for a Manager, Growth Data Science & Analytics, with a focus on growth, eater activation, and resurrection to join our team. As a result of your guidance and strategic direction, you’ll help advance our Growth team’s capabilities, applying scientific rigor to inform, strategize, and optimize our already steep growth trajectory.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Marketing analysts, fostering their professional development, collaboration, and analytical expertise
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing data from diverse sources, including digital, offline, social media, CRM, and brand, to identify actionable insights and trends
  • Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and forecasting techniques to evaluate marketing performance, predict outcomes, and optimize marketing investments
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing partners on leveraging advanced analytics solutions, including MMM, MTA, and LTV optimization, ensuring data-driven decision-making across marketing initiatives
  • Communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, providing data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and collaborating with Marketing leads to develop growth strategies

 

Core Competencies

  • Experience developing and working with marketing measurement solutions, including MMM and MTA models, causal inference, forecasting, LTV, churn, and segmentation
  • Experience across Brand and Performance Marketing measurement
  • High autonomy in partnering with non-technical stakeholders with strong communication skills at various levels
  • High autonomy in executing to produce insights using data with expert proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and Tableau/Looker
  • High agency and growth mindset

Year of experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics managing complex analytics projects
  • At least 2 years managing teams of analysts and data scientists
  • At least 2 years in a growth team (in any capacity)

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Pay Range for this position$190,000—$200,000 USD
