Technical Writer for Data Products CoE

Danske Bank is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our Data Products CoE team. This role involves creating comprehensive, clear, and concise documentation that supports our community and enhances understanding and implementation of our data products and practices. You will be responsible for developing a wide range of technical content, including community documentation, whitepapers, FAQs, How-To’s, quick guides, and detailed process documentations.

As a Technical Writer within the Data & Analytics function, you will be vital in documenting and communicating complex information in an accessible manner. Your work will directly contribute to the operational efficiency and strategic objectives of Danske Bank by ensuring all stakeholders have the knowledge and resources needed to excel.
 

As a Technical Writer you will

In this role, you will develop and maintain community documentation and guidelines to support the design, development, and deployment of Danske Bank’s data products. Writing and updating whitepapers and best practices documents will be essential to outline effective use of data products for process optimisation and capturing new business value. Additionally, you will create and revise FAQs, How-To guides, and quick guides to enhance user understanding, skills, and engagement.

Furthermore, you will

• Produce detailed process and framework documentation, including process maps with swim-lanes detailing decision points, roles, and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across IT, business units, and management to ensure the accuracy and relevance of technical content.
• Manage the documentation lifecycle, from gathering information to publishing and updating documents.
   

We imagine that you have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience as a Technical Writer, especially in the tech or financial services industry or similar experience.
• Demonstrable ability to translate complex technical information into clear, jargon-free text.
• Previous work or technical experience in data and analytics, data products, data warehousing will be considered an advantage.
   

Skills Required

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong ability to create organized, user-friendly, and engaging content.
• Proficient in diagramming and visual representation of complex processes.
• Experience with documentation tools and platforms.
• Collaboration and communication skills, able to work efficiently with diverse teams.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages used in Danske Bank locations is a plus.
