Data Engineer - Analytics/AI

Toshiba Global Commerce Solution is seeking a Data Engineer with a focus on AI & Analytics, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that process structured and unstructured data from various sources, including Oracle databases and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Your work will enable our AI and analytics initiatives by ensuring high-quality, accessible data.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and transform data from Oracle databases, EBS, and other structured and unstructured data sources.
• Prepare and optimize data for use with AI, machine learning models, and analytics.
• Integrate disparate data sources to create unified datasets for large-scale analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering, AI, and analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 Years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle databases and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
• Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools.
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with AI and machine learning applications.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.
