GTM Data Quality Manager

About The Role

The GTM Operations team works across all other teams to enable and scale Intapp's growth and business success. We drive GTM transformation supported by process improvements, data-driven insights, and program management of high impact cross-functional initiatives. Ultimately, we are a team of strategic, curious, humble, and analytically minded individuals with a bias toward action and impact.

Data quality management within GTM operations focuses on optimizing the quality of data assets to support informed decision-making, enhance client interactions, and drive business growth.

Accurate and up-to-date data empowers sales teams to identify whitespace, personalize outreach efforts, and prioritize their activities effectively. Similarly, marketing teams rely on quality data to create targeted campaigns, deliver relevant content, and optimize marketing strategies for maximum impact. Quality data is how you guarantee your sales and marketing teams are connecting with your target audience.

The GTM Data Quality Manager ensures Intapp’s data quality standards are achieved through a series of regular data maintenance activities and enacting an overall GTM data quality strategy. They are in charge of managing and enforcing data quality initiatives, like data acquisition, enrichment, cleaning, and expansion of data sets. 

What you will do:

  • Set the GTM data quality strategy including defining data quality, assessing current data quality, enhancing/augmenting data, and data change control/management, which includes a focus on:
    • Accuracy: Assessing the correctness and precision of the information stored in our CRM. This includes verifying the authenticity of contact details, company information, and other relevant data points.
    • Completeness: Evaluate whether all necessary fields and information are present and up-to-date within the data sets.
    • Consistency: Ensuring uniformity and coherence across your B2B data, particularly when data is sourced from multiple sources or integrated from disparate systems. Consistency helps prevent discrepancies and ensures data integrity.
    • Relevance: Determining and ranking the usefulness and applicability of the data for your specific business needs and objectives.
  • Develop a portfolio of data quality projects and ongoing management, including presentation back to executives to seek buy-in and cross-functional resource allocation, when needed.
  • Build cross-functional excitement and commitment to your strategy and overall program.
  • Work cross-functionally with partners on the Finance, Strategy, and Data teams.
  • Set the technical vision and strategy to guide our engineers as they build robust and scalable data infrastructure
  • Overseeing the management procedures for errors and remediation: impact on use, root-cause analysis of data defects, definition of remediation plans with the business areas
  • Designing and deploying dashboards to monitor data quality
  • Ensuring compliance of the Intapp’s data quality norms and standards
  • Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and identify ways to prevent the issues from occurring in the future
  • Lead the remediation process by prioritizing the work of repairing anomalies 
  • Partner with GTM enablement to ensure timely and repetitive training on GTM data initiatives and maintenance, creating the right team processes, structure, and systems to build and maintain high-quality processes that power our data infrastructure
  • Provide detailed documentation on the origin and use of data across Intapp’s GTM
  • Regularly present GTM data quality statistics to senior leadership
  • Maintain Intapp’s GTM data dictionary

What you will need:

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years working with GTM data in an operations, analytical or systems role (or similar). Familiarity with GTM roles, work processes, systems and metrics.
  • Skills: Understanding of data management concepts and associated business processes and tools that make data reliable and useful. Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and manage complex projects. Demonstrable track record as an influential leader
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
  • Data: Proficient data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
