Data Analytics & Data Science Intern (Remote)

We are looking for a motivated and driven Data Analytics & Data Science Intern who is eager to learn and grow with our team.

Clockify is the world's #1-time tracker, used by millions, from individuals to big companies like Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, American Express, Amazon, etc.

About internship

This is an unpaid internship lasting 4 weeks. The goal is to offer a full-time role upon successful completion. 

You'll be working with big data (mostly structured) to gain valuable business insights, visualize key findings, test hypotheses, and build machine learning solutions. In addition, you will be collaborating with Engineering and Business teams in developing relevant analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ability to quickly grasp the basics of data analytics and statistical learning
• Participate in the design and maintenance of our RDB
• Assist in the development and optimization of our analytics solutions (SQL codes, data visualizations and machine learning models)

Requirements

• A passion for problem-solving, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to put in extra effort to integrate into the team and make a meaningful impact
• Fluency in English and one of the Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin)
• A university degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Experimental Psychology, Computer Science or related quantitative field
• A solid understanding of applied statistics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire for continuous learning
• Residency in Serbia
• Ability to work in CET timezone (9:00-17:00 UTC+1)

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with Python, R, RDB, cloud computing, and inferential statistics (multiple testing)
• A solid knowledge of linear algebra, statistical programming, and computational thinking
