Job Description:This position reports to the Data Management Analyst III and is responsible for collecting, preparing, and analyzing research and other complex statistical data. This involves preparing statistical and narrative reports and participating in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate. The position also includes maintaining computerized data collection and tracking systems.
Data Management & Reporting
- Coordinate research and statistical requests for the Office of the University Registrar.
- Conduct data analyses and prepare statistical and narrative reports for university needs.
- Develop research designs, protocols, and administrative procedures to support data collection.
- Maintain accurate computerized data collection and tracking.
- Manage submissions to external entities and coordinate data across enrollment management functions.
- Audit complex data files to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting guidelines.
- Follow established procedures for statistical reporting, analysis, and predictions.
- Support initiatives that affect state-fundable credit, including enrollment, grades, degrees, and waivers.
Collaboration & Support
- Provide statistical expertise to faculty, staff, and university administrators.
- Liaise with UFIT personnel to ensure alignment with academic processes and student records systems.
- Support website updates and publication of data for administrative use.
- Assist in reviewing and editing data for Board of Governors Education reporting requirements.
Other Duties
- Process email communications through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Hire, train, and supervise student assistants assigned to the area.
This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.
Expected Salary:$61,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area.
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge and experience with report writing software (Cognos and Tableau), Excel, CSV files, Access, and Ultraedit
- Understanding of data formatting
- Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Knowledge of the academic process
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft student records system
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
