Project ManagerThis role should encompass business analysis, project management, and technical skills to ensure that the solution meets the organization's needs, improves operational efficiency, and enhances customer satisfaction. The role requires a deep understanding of relevant business processes, as well as the ability to manage projects, stakeholders, and technology resources effectively. The candidate should have pure implementation experience across various corporate and retail products or services

 

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including relevant departments, to identify and document business requirements for projects.
• Solution Design: Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system design documents. Work closely with IT and software vendors to ensure the solution meets business needs.
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee the implementation of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Apply project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, to manage project tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Agile Project Management: Collaborate in an Agile environment, employing Scrum methodology for streamlined technical project management and iterative development.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement through project implementations. Implement best practices to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall performance.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Coordinate and participate in testing activities to ensure the solution meets business requirements and functions correctly. Manage the resolution of any issues identified during testing.
• Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials for end-users. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the solution.
• Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between the organization and vendors. Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring vendor deliverables meet quality standards.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the solution complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Work with compliance and risk departments to integrate risk management practices into the solution.
• Reporting and Analytics: Develop and manage reporting tools to monitor project performance, track key metrics, and support decision-making processes.
• Change Management: Lead change management efforts associated with project implementations and upgrades. Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and manage any resistance to change.

 

Qualifications

Graduate in Computer Science or Diploma in Computer ScienceProfessional Certification in IT Disciplines with focus to IT Service Management and Quality Assurance

Technical Skills: 

 

Understanding of Data Analytics:

Familiarity with data lifecycle: collection, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization.

Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI.

 

Big Data and Cloud Platforms:

Experience with tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake.

Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

 

Data Integration and ETL:

Awareness of ETL processes and tools like Informatica, Talend, or Apache NiFi.

 

Database Management:

Proficiency in working with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.

 

Data Visualization:

Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

 

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

Awareness of data security, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and governance best practices.

Experience

Project management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry

 

Domain Expertise: Experience in the industry relevant to the analytics platform (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).

 

Technical Project Delivery: Previous involvement in implementing analytics platforms or similar technical projects.

 

Cross-functional Team Leadership: History of working with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, analysts, and business units.
