Job Title: Data Management Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

In this role you will, interpret data using appropriate analytical tools and methods, creating and maintaining databases processes and systems to manage data, gathering data from primary and secondary sources and make it available to different teams.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Data Stewardship: responsible for a strong data integrity internally and externally ensuring a single source of truth and eliminate duplication of entries.                             

• Collects, cleanse and processes data using relevant tools and techniques and perform quality analysis tests to make use of output data in most efficient way.                          

• Data creation / update and standardization of the master data across all platforms (e.g MOSAIC, Analytica, OPTIC ...etc.)                            

• Fix and resolve any technical failures or urgent update related to master data as well as proactive creation and cleansing of master database and liaises with end users and IT\developers where needed.                                   

• Extracting data using special/statistical tools and software, responding to data-related queries, setting up processes to make data more efficient.                          

• Identify ways and collaborate internally with team members, IT, NBS …etc. to further automate current and upcoming tasks.                              

What will make you successful…

-  Bachelor’s Degree in data science, mathematics, or related fields and a postgraduate degree in data analytics or a related field.

-  Minimum 1-2 years experience with cross functional experience. 

-  Proficiency in English.

-  Analytical & problem-solving skills.

-  Experience in database design like MS access or SQL.

-  Proficient in Office 365 tools like: Power BI, Power apps, flow, Excel.

-  Knowledge in R, Python or web design is a plus.
