Data Analytics Developer – Senior Analyst 

Develops and maintains automations and visualizations to support critical business processes and decision-making.

This position reports into David Merritt and is based at São José dos Campos, Brazil.

This role is in Kenvue’s Technology and Data organization, which houses the business functions supporting corporate IT, technology for business, AI and data, and Cybersecurity. This role is specifically within the Cybersecurity function.

What You Will Do

The Data Analytics Developer - Senior Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing data-driven visual solutions and data automations and managing digital product development supporting cybersecurity risk management. You will oversee day-to-day operations of data visualization projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder needs. You will lead, influence, negotiate, and iterate as much as needed to understand the business needs and then to deliver results aligned with the intent of those needs.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and implement data visualizations and dashboards using common visualization tools (e.g., Power Bi, Tableau)

·         Collaborate with technical and business partners to understand what data and information the business needs to visualize and to automate

·         Define and track metrics to measure the success of the visualizations and automations, making these metrics easily accessible and usable to stakeholders

·         Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in code-based data automation and visualizations to continuously improve processes and procedures

·         Design, develop, and implement code-based data automation solutions for various software applications and data sources (e.g., Python, Power Apps, Azure Storage, Snowflake)

·         Develop, implement, test, track, and maintain code in accordance with industry best practices (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket, Github)

·         Create and maintain documentation for automated solutions and provide training to end-users as needed

·         Anticipate and resolve issues/barriers that impede progress, and proactively communicate with and seek assistance from key stakeholders

·         Communicate effectively with leadership to provide updates and gather feedback

·         Perform incremental testing on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered

Qualifications

 

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation development

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software development, or related field requiring substantial coding, or equivalent experience

·         Proficiency in any data visualization tools to create and interpret complex data visualizations to support business decisions, such as Power BI and Tableau

·         Experience with Design Principles, User-Centered Design Processes, and Usability Best Practices

·         Proficiency in any programming language useful for scripting and automation, such as Python

·         Experience with Microsoft Power Platform

·         Experience working with RESTful APIs

·         Strong understanding of automation tools and technologies, including cloud-based platforms, such as Microsoft Azure

·         Experience with Agile methodology, especially around user stories and product development

·         Experience with technical documentation, requirements/analyst work, feasibility testing, end-to-end automations, performance metrics, and process enablement

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Strong communication skills—verbal and written—to foster a culture of empowerment and accountability

·         Fluent English 

Desired Qualifications

·         4+ years of experience in automation development

·         Demonstrable proficiency with data science and analytics

·         Deep experience with cloud-based code development, automation, data storage, and microservices (i.e., Microsoft Azure)

·         Deep experience using CI/CD pipelines, using containers and/or virtualization, and developing automated testing solutions

·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple team priorities, balancing resources between operational support and enhancements, and ongoing prioritization of evolving business needs

·         Working experience managing complex infrastructures consisting of end-user environments, run-time environments and servers across a variety of technologies (e.g., Azure, Snowflake)
